Welcome to Littale. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Littale’s website, applications, and services. By accessing or using Littale, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Littale provides AI-powered storytelling and learning experiences for families, educators, students, and professional story creators. These Terms apply to all users, including free and premium subscribers.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent, guardian, or authorized educator, to create an account on Littale. Parents and teachers are responsible for managing accounts and content created for children and students under their supervision.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Littale is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from failure to safeguard login information.

2. Use of the Platform

Littale grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal, educational, or commercial purposes as permitted by your subscription plan.

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to reverse engineer the technology, interfere with system security, exploit content generation limits, or use Littale in any unlawful or harmful manner.

3. Storybook Creation and AI Content

Littale uses artificial intelligence to generate stories, illustrations, learning quests, and related content based on user inputs. Generated content may vary and is provided “as is” without guarantees of uniqueness or accuracy.

Users are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing, publishing, or selling it. Littale does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be free from errors or similarities to other works.

4. User Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload, including photos and text. Subject to your subscription plan, you also retain rights to AI-generated storybooks and illustrations created on Littale.

By using Littale, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering platform features such as story generation, personalization, storage, and display.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

Littale offers Free and Premium subscription plans. Free users may access the Open Library with limited learning quest participation. Premium users receive unrestricted access to all features.

Subscription fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers. Failure to complete payment may result in loss of access to premium features.

6. Printing, Downloads, and Publishing

Premium users may download storybooks and order physical printed copies. You are responsible for ensuring that published or sold content complies with applicable laws, platform rules, and third-party marketplace requirements.

Littale is not responsible for distribution, sales performance, or disputes arising from external publishing platforms.

7. Learning Quests, Results, and Leaderboards

Learning Quests generate scores, points, and rankings based on user participation. Results are intended for educational insight and engagement purposes only and should not be treated as formal academic assessment.

Leaderboards display limited identifiers and are designed for friendly competition. Littale is not responsible for how users interpret or compare performance results.

8. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, offensive, misleading, or violates the rights of others. Littale reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Abuse of AI systems, excessive automated usage, or attempts to bypass usage limits are strictly prohibited.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

Littale strives to provide reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time to improve performance or comply with regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if required for security, maintenance, or legal reasons.

10. Termination of Accounts

You may terminate your account at any time. Littale may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

Upon termination, access to storybooks, downloads, and premium features may be revoked, subject to applicable laws.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Littale is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Littale shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Littale after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
