Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 17, 2026

Welcome to Littale ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") establish an absolute, legally binding contractual framework between you and Littale regarding your access to and utilization of our web applications located at littale.com, associated back-end services, and digital workspace modules.

By initializing an account coordinate, purchasing a subscription framework, or utilizing any feature on the Platform, you explicitly affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you do not possess the legal capacity to consent or if you disagree with any systemic parameter described herein, you are programmatically forbidden from accessing the Platform and must terminate usage immediately.

1. SaaS Platform Scope and Workspace Entitlements

Littale operates strictly as an independent Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) architecture providing personalized digital storybook creation arrays, AI-driven narrative text generation, non-biometric character avatar synthesis, and interactive cognitive learning quests. Access to the platform's high-compute modules is governed via user account configurations categorized into Free Tiers and recurring Premium Subscription Plans. We reserve the right to modify, recalibrate, or restrict access to any feature layer or token structure at any runtime coordinate to preserve infrastructure integrity.

2. Account Initialization and Security Pipelines

To initialize a personal workspace ledger, you must register a profile by completing our automated verification pipeline. You strictly warrant that all credentials provided are accurate and current. For identity validation and security access optimization, the Platform implements a secure One-Time Password (OTP) framework dispatched through support@littale.com. You retain exclusive liability for maintaining the confidentiality of your session tokens, local storage cryptographic keys, and profile actions. Unauthorized account breaches must be reported immediately to our support desk.

3. AI Input Warranties and User-Generated Asset Sovereignty

The Platform integrates deep semantic narrative compilation and avatar cartoonization nodes. Your interaction with these systems is governed by the following intellectual boundaries:

  • Source Image Rights & Warranties: When uploading any source reference photograph to the avatar creation module, you explicitly warrant that you possess absolute legal ownership, copyright, or unassailable authorization over that likeness. You are strictly forbidden from uploading images of third parties without explicit consent, or any images depicting individuals for whom you do not possess direct legal guardianship.
  • Acceptable Likeness Boundary: You agree that the avatar module is restricted to generating non-realistic, stylized cartoon characters. Utilizing the Platform to generate deepfakes, unauthorized celebrity lookalikes, non-consensual biometric processing, or defamatory visual arrays constitutes a fatal violation of these Terms and will trigger instant account termination.
  • Output Assets License: Littale claims no ownership over the unique text story variations or cartoonized avatars synthesized via your authenticated workspace. You maintain a perpetual, global, royalty-free license to utilize, share, and distribute your generated digital assets, subject entirely to your compliance with these Terms.

4. Financial Framework and Merchant of Record (Paddle)

All commercial billing actions, ledger credit allocations, subscription invoicing, multi-currency processing, and transaction settlements are executed exclusively by our authorized Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (Paddle).

By initiating a premium checkout event, you authorize Paddle to charge your chosen payment profile for the specified fees, including applicable regional consumption taxes. Subscription structures operate on automated recurring cycles (monthly or yearly). You retain absolute sovereignty to deactivate recurring billing configurations via your Account Settings dashboard at any coordinate. Financial adjustments, balance downgrades, and token credit clawbacks are handled manually via our support desk in strict conformity with our documented 15-Day Tiered Refund Policy.

5. Staged Physical Fulfillment Integration Roadmap ("Coming Soon via Lulu.com")

The Platform displays digital interfaces, configuration menus, and delivery mapping fields related to hardcopy book binding, physical printing, and global shipment tracking. These configurations are explicitly designated as "Coming Soon" roadmap modules and are currently inactive. No live financial transaction pipelines exist to process order parameters for physical items.

Upon formal deployment and activation of this physical layer, all print-on-demand manuscript compilation, production, packaging, and shipping vectors will be executed entirely via our third-party printing infrastructure provider, Lulu Press, Inc. (Lulu.com). Once live, the following binding contractual rules will govern all physical orders:

  • Absolute Custom Production Lock: Because physical items generated through the Lulu.com print network are entirely bespoke, print-on-demand assets tied to your specific user configurations, orders cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded once production files are dispatched to the Lulu.com queue.
  • Defect Resolution Protocols: Standard satisfaction-based returns are legally barred. Physical product remediation is limited strictly to manufacturing errors or transport-induced destruction verified by submitting photographic evidence to support@littale.com within fourteen (14) days of delivery. Verified faults will be resolved exclusively with a cost-free replacement printing loop processed via Lulu.com.

6. Youth Safety and Asymmetric Classroom Environments

Littale is engineered to fully protect minor users and strictly complies with COPPA and GDPR-K regulations.

Premium Creators (including verified parents, legal guardians, and educators) are authorized to generate secure, direct reading links to share custom stories with children. Minor students utilizing these direct links are granted access to read text configurations and engage in cognitive learning quests without registering accounts or exposing personal identifiers.

When free accounts are initialized for minors within an educational context, their workspace data is protected by asymmetric isolation rules. Students can inspect only their personal data rows and public leaderboard nicknames. Premium Creators retain administrative authority to view granular performance metrics for pedagogical verification. Educators warrant that they possess the necessary school district or parental authorizations required to deploy these interactive links.

7. Account Purification and Data Retention Boundaries

You maintain user-driven purge controls over your digital footprint. You may execute the manual removal of individual content assets or trigger a permanent profile termination request within your configuration dashboard. To protect system infrastructure against accidental disruption, mitigate credit exploitation vectors, and retain mandatory financial auditing archives for Paddle dispute tracking, all deleted accounts enter a secure tombstone backup layer. This backup is held encrypted for exactly six (6) months. Upon completion of this 180-day purification window, the data is permanently, irreversibly, and completely wiped from our AWS Lightsail servers.

8. Prohibited Platform Engagements

You are programmatically and legally forbidden from executing the following architectural infractions:

  • Utilizing automated script configurations, scrapers, crawlers, or bots to harvest data from littale.com or reverse-engineer our secure Google Gemini enterprise API layers.
  • Circumventing, breaking, or fracturing our UI endpoint security layers to access premium workspace coordinates without valid token allocations.
  • Uploading malware payloads, malicious code blocks, or structural disruptions to our AWS Lightsail infrastructure servers.

9. Limitation of Liability and System Warranties

The platform is provided to you on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without any express or implied systemic warranties. Littale explicitly disclaims liability for runtime anomalies, unexpected server latency, algorithmic deviations in the AI narrative synthesis, or third-party downstream network outages (including Vercel edge delays, AWS database maintenance, or Google Gemini API drops). Under no legal framework shall the total aggregated liability of Littale exceed the exact cash volume paid by you to Paddle for your active billing cycle.

10. Contractual Changes and Governing Authority

We reserve the right to modify this contractual framework at any coordinate. Material updates will be highlighted via explicit dashboard alerts, platform notices, or revision updates at the peak of this interface. Continued utilization of the Platform following a revision indicates an unassailable acceptance of the new Terms. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of our operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflicting legal principles.

11. Legal Operations Contact Registry

For all formal contractual inquiries, compliance questions, platform policy audits, or license evaluations, please direct precise communications to our centralized administration and support desk:
